Abstract

A study conducted by Colorado State University aimed to describe the independent exercise habits of cancer survivors participating in a videoconference-delivered exercise program. The program consisted of weekly exercise sessions and behavior change discussions. The participants, mostly female and diagnosed with ovarian or breast cancer, engaged in independent exercise outside of the supervised sessions, with brisk walking and weightlifting being the most common activities. The findings provide valuable information on the context of independent exercise during the program and have implications for understanding its effectiveness. [Extracted from the article]
