Abstract

A recent study conducted by researchers from Universite du Quebec a Montreal explores the rise of homeschooling in Quebec, Canada, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The study focuses on the challenges faced by parents who act as educators and wish to prioritize pedagogical strategies aligned with their preferences and values. The researchers conducted interviews with six novice families who started homeschooling and provided them with pedagogical support over a 12-week period. The findings highlight the importance of continued support for homeschooling parents and suggest the need for further research in this area to ensure quality education for all children.
