Abstract
- A study conducted at Chongqing Medical University in China examined the effects of acupoint irradiation with millimeter-wave combined with thymopentin treatment on peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) after chemotherapy. The study included 100 patients with NSCLC who were randomly divided into four groups: control group, millimeter-wave group, thymopentin group, and combination group. The results showed that the combination of acupoint irradiation with millimeter-wave and thymopentin treatment helped restore the decreased B lymphocytes and CD4+/CD8+ ratio induced by chemotherapy in patients with NSCLC, with better effectiveness than each treatment alone. This research has been peer-reviewed and published in the Latin American Journal of Pharmacy. [Extracted from the article]
