Abstract
- A research report from the Chinese Academy of Sciences discusses the use of a novel single-atom nanozyme pyroptosis initiator called Cu-NS@UK@POx for immunotherapy. This nanozyme triggers pyroptosis, a form of cell death, to enhance the immunogenicity of tumor cells and remodel the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment. By targeting pyruvate metabolism, this treatment strategy activates antitumor immunotherapy effects and shows promise for expanding immunotherapy options.
