Abstract

BRICS, initially comprising Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, has emerged as a significant force in the global economy. Its expansion to include Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has sparked debate on multipolarity. Dissatisfied nations are increasingly seeking alternative cooperation through BRICS, challenging Western global dominance to pursue a more equitable global system. In this context, BRICS is pivotal in shaping the contours of a new multipolar world order, redefining the geopolitical landscape, and signaling a paradigm shift in global governance.
