Abstract

A study conducted at Ilam University in Iran explores the surface modifications of Fe3O4 nanoparticles (NPs) using physical and chemical methods. The researchers used Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy to analyze the structural and surface modifications of the nanoparticles. They successfully loaded stearic acid onto the Fe3O4 NPs, as confirmed by characteristic peaks in the FTIR analysis. The study also investigated the efficient loading of tetracycline and ibuprofen onto the nanoparticles, as well as changes in magnetic properties and composition of drug-loaded nanofibers. The research highlights the potential of chemical and physical methods for surface modification of nanofibers. [Extracted from the article]
