Investigators at University Hospital Center Mother Teresa Detail Findings in Gaucher's Disease (Taliglucerase Alfa In the Longterm Treatment of Children and Adolescents With Type 1 Gaucher Disease: the Albanian Experience).

A study conducted at the University Hospital Center Mother Teresa in Tirana, Albania, evaluated the long-term efficacy and safety of Taliglucerase alfa in children and adolescents with Type 1 Gaucher disease. Over a six-year period, 10 patients were monitored for various parameters, including hemoglobin concentration, platelet count, liver and spleen volume, bone mineral density, glucosylsphingosine level, chitotriosidase activity, and growth parameters.
