Abstract

A recent report discusses research findings on postpartum hemorrhage in women with pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH) undergoing cesarean delivery (CD). The study compared the effectiveness of Bakri balloon tamponade (BBT) combined with different suture methods in preventing postpartum hemorrhage. The results showed that both BBT combined with B-lynch uterine compression sutures and BBT combined with modified Hayman suture were effective in controlling bleeding, but the latter method resulted in less blood loss, reduced inflammation, improved coagulation function and ovarian function, and a lower incidence of adverse events. This research provides valuable insights for healthcare professionals managing postpartum hemorrhage in women with PIH. [Extracted from the article]
