Abstract
- This article discusses the power of everyday people to make a difference in their communities. It shares the stories of three individuals who overcame barriers to help others. Arshay Cooper, who grew up in a troubled neighborhood, used rowing to inspire and mentor disadvantaged kids. Jon Ponder, a former gang member and felon, started an organization to support prisoners reentering society. Amy Crenshaw, a mother with no restaurant experience, opened a pay-what-you-can café to revitalize her city's downtown. The article emphasizes that anyone can make a positive impact by combining their passion, skills, and opportunities to serve others. [Extracted from the article]
