Abstract

A study conducted by the Environmental Science Department in Quetta, Pakistan, examined the effects of fluoride on the growth and biochemical parameters of Lady's Finger plants in biochar mixed soil. The experiment found that fluoride significantly reduced plant growth parameters, such as plant height and leaf surface area. However, the adverse effects of fluoride were lessened when the concentration of biochar was increased. This suggests that increasing the concentration of biochar can minimize the severity of fluoride stress and improve crop yield. [Extracted from the article]
