New Findings from Regional University of Cariri (URCA) Describe Advances in Staphylococcus aureus (Admet Analysis, Antibacterial and Modified Antibiotic Activities of Thiadiazine Derivatives).

A recent study conducted by the Regional University of Cariri (URCA) in Crato, Brazil, focused on the antibacterial activity of thiadiazine derivatives against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The researchers synthesized compounds derived from thiadiazine and performed various tests to evaluate their antibacterial activity. Two compounds showed antibacterial activity against the examined strains, and all compounds showed activity when combined with the antibiotic norfloxacin. In-silico analysis indicated that the compounds have high lipophilicity and non-toxic characteristics.
