Abstract

A new report discusses research on the treatment of aphakia and traumatic mydriasis, conditions affecting the eye. The study evaluated the safety and effectiveness of a procedure called sutureless intrascleral intraocular lens (IOL) fixation combined with modified iris cerclage pupilloplasty. Five patients underwent this procedure and were followed up for 6 months. The results showed improved visual acuity, reduced pupil diameter, and no complications.
