Abstract

Researchers at the University of Jember have conducted a study on heart failure patients undergoing inguinal hernia surgery. The study focused on the use of combined spinal-epidural anesthesia with isobaric ropivacaine 0.375% to provide adequate anesthesia while maintaining stable hemodynamics. The researchers found that this approach was safe and effective for heart failure patients with reduced ejection fraction. The study provides valuable insights for anesthesiologists managing heart failure patients undergoing surgery. [Extracted from the article]
