Studies from Department of Urology Yield New Data on Nephrotic Syndrome (Medium-Term Outcome of Cyclosporine in Children with Steroid-Dependent Nephrotic Syndrome: Single Centre experience from Pakistan).

A study conducted in Pakistan examined the medium-term outcome of Cyclosporine therapy in children with steroid-dependent nephrotic syndrome. The study included 75 children, primarily boys, between the ages of 1 and 12. The results showed that Cyclosporine effectively maintained remission and reduced the use of steroids with minimal nephrotoxicity.
