Young Engineers Colloquium 2023, Organised by the Belgian and Dutch National Groups.

The Young Engineers Colloquium 2023 (YEC2023) was organized by the Belgian and Dutch National Groups of IABSE and took place at Ghent University in Belgium. The event provided a platform for young engineers under 35 years old to present their research, engineering, and construction projects to fellow engineers in the structural engineering sector. The Colloquium included oral and poster presentations, as well as a keynote lecture by Prof. José Campos e Matos. The event also featured a city walk and a technical excursion to visit bridges under construction and the Oosterweel tunnel project. Awards were given for the best paper and poster presentations.
