Abstract
- David King, former UK climate change representative and chief scientific adviser, is still actively working to address climate change. As head of the Climate Crisis Advisory Group, he has proposed a strategy of "four Rs" to tackle climate change: rapid emissions cuts, removing carbon from the atmosphere, repairing or refreezing the Arctic, and building resilience. King supports experiments to create white clouds over the Arctic Sea in the summer to prevent melting, using biomimicry rather than traditional geoengineering. He emphasizes the need for global cooperation, particularly among resource-hungry superpowers like China, the US, the EU, Brazil, and India. King also criticizes the UK's actions on the international stage and highlights the importance of understanding other countries' perspectives in climate negotiations. [Extracted from the article]
