Abstract
- A recent toxicology research study conducted at Usak University in Turkey investigated the protective effects of resveratrol and Coenzyme Q10 against oxidative stress induced by cyclophosphamide, a drug used in the treatment of various diseases, including cancer. The study involved male rats divided into different groups, and the results showed that resveratrol and Coenzyme Q10, both separately and together, reversed the altered levels and enzyme activities caused by cyclophosphamide, as well as ameliorated DNA damage and histopathological changes. The findings suggest that resveratrol and Coenzyme Q10 may have potential protective effects against cyclophosphamide-induced toxicity. [Extracted from the article]
