Venipuncture and Blood Collection on Conscious Virginia Opossums (Didelphis virginiana).

We developed a venipuncture technique of the ventral caudal vein in conscious Virginia opossums (Didelphis virginiana) in cage traps, enabling blood sampling without anesthesia.
