Abstract

Researchers at Ilam University of Medical Sciences in Iran have developed a new method for synthesizing copper oxide nanoparticles (CuO NPs) using sodium lignosulfonate. These nanoparticles were then used to create ointments for the treatment of cutaneous wounds. The study found that the use of these nanoparticles significantly reduced the size of skin wounds in rats and showed more improvement in histopathology compared to other groups. The researchers concluded that these nanoparticles could be a fast and effective treatment for healing skin wounds. [Extracted from the article]
