Retirement savings plans for radiologists, part 2: a comparison of academic and private practice retirement benefits.

A survey on retirement benefits was conducted involving 42 academic radiology departments and 42 private practice radiology groups. In this article, we present and discuss the survey results and provide recommendations for improving the retirement benefits for radiologists in both private practice and academic settings.
