Abstract

This article discusses the management of invasive alien species (IAS) in China. It highlights the negative impacts of biological invasions on ecosystems, the environment, and the economy. The article presents 24 papers that cover a wide range of topics related to IAS management, including risk analysis, mechanisms of invasion success, performance of successful IAS, and impact and control of invasive species. The studies use various methods such as field surveys, experiments, ecological modeling, and molecular techniques to assess invasion risks, investigate mechanisms, and develop control strategies.
