Abstract
- A study conducted by Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, compared different methods of phage susceptibility testing (PST) for Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a Gram-negative bacteria. The researchers found that there is currently no standardized approach for assessing bacterial susceptibility to phage. The study concluded that further development is needed to improve the reproducibility of PST methods. This research was supported by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the Peer Reviewed Medical Research Program. [Extracted from the article]
