Abstract
- This article presents chapter ten of the book "Thomas Malory: The Critical Heritage Series," edited by B. C. Southam. The chapter presents information about various nineteenth-century scholars and bibliographers who have written about author Thomas Malory, including Joseph Ritson, George Ellis, George Burnett, and Thomas Frognell Dibdin. Books discussed in the article include the "Dissertation on Romance and Minstrelsy," by Joseph Ritson, "Specimens of English Prose Writers," by George Burnett, commentaries made by Thomas Frognell Dibdin, who edited "Typographical Antiquities," by William Caxton, and "Specimens of Early English Metrical Romances," by George Ellis, which was later re-edited by J. O. Halliwell.
