Abstract

Researchers from Shanghai University have synthesized a type of dendronized hyperbranched polyethyleneimines (DHPs) by modifying polyethyleneimines (PEIs) with dendritic oligoethylene glycols (OEGs). These DHPs exhibit thermoresponsive behavior, low cytotoxicity, and switchable encapsulation capacities. They can be used as nanoreactors for the fabrication of metal nanoparticles and show potential for applications in drug-controlled release. The research findings provide insights into the development of smart polymers with promising properties for various biomedical and catalytic applications. [Extracted from the article]
