Abstract

The article presents information about the International Journal of Hospitality Management's Annual Prize for Best Paper 2004. The award was established in 2003 to recognize and acknowledge exceptional and original contributions to the field. The prize has a value of U.S. $3,000. The winning paper is selected on the basis of the following criteria: originality, relevance to the field, significance and potential impact, contribution to theory and clarity. The winner of the Annual Prize for Best Paper 2004 is Dr. Glenn Ross of James Cook University's School of Business. His paper entitled "Ethics, Trust and Expectations Regarding the Treatment of Disabled Staff Within a Tourism/Hospitality Industry Context" was published in the December 2004 issue of the "International Journal of Hospitality Management."
