Abstract
- The purpose of the present investigation is to study the possibility of applying the cationizing agent in the process of production of the viscose fibers, especially in the production of viscose silks. In these investigations the interaction of the cellulose and the cationizing agent is accomplished by the addition of the latter to the viscose solution. The changes of the technological parameters of several viscose solutions, containing different amounts of the cationizing product, have been followed. The possibility for the spinning of fibers from these solutions was also studied. The produced polyampholytic fibers have been characterized for their tensile strength, elongation and dyeing ability.
