Abstract
- The article focuses on a drink that goes well with Chinese food. On a recent shopping day, having acquired some moderately fresh food, Sarah Bamfod cooked for friends. Some of her favourites are Ken Hom's lemon chicken recipe, a basic beef and black-bean sauce recipe, and plenty of Chinese vegetables. They started the meal with a bottle of red wine from the picturesque, hilly, Jura region of France. The name derives from the presence of wood in the flavour, which actually occurs naturally without the wine being aged in wood.
