Abstract

The article presents information about the budget-wise kitchen renovation in the U.S. Aaron Foster, an interior designer now living in Los Angeles, was charmed by the tiny dwelling's cottage appeal. His decision to completely renovate the place gave him the freedom to pick out every fixture often discovered on-the-cheap from sources such as eBay, Home Depot, and antiques fairs. By buying inexpensive storage solutions— stainless-steel shelves from a restaurant-supply house, $40 each— Aaron then invested in the appliances he liked. Two large shelving units outfitted with metal baskets, came from a factory and were purchased for $350 each at an antiques market.
