Abstract
- We present the results of a study designed to test the theory of reward expectations and the allocation function of Fisek and Wagner (2003). The study is a vignette application on students from two different cultures, Turkey and the United States. The results are supportive of reward expectations theory and indicate directions for both empirical research and theoretical development. We also report and discuss the differences in the two cultures and indivdual level correlates of allocation behaviors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
