On "shrinking space": A framing paper.

The article presents the discussion on activists and social justice organizations facing an increasingly repressive and securitized environment as well as unprecedented attacks on their legitimacy and security. Topics include suppressing Black Lives Matter to the assassination of Berta Cáceres, the criminalization of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions; and policies and practices imposing restrictions on the rights to freedom of assembly and association.
