Abstract

Environmental protection has now become a major concern, especially as a result of the significant negative consequences of the economic development promoted since the industrial revolution. Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions have a significant negative impact on climate change and lead to an increase in the carbon footprint. The name LIDAR is an acronym for the description of the technology, its full name being "Light Detection and Ranging" broadly translated as "distance measurement by photo detection".Following the registration and export of data, the data of interest were obtained and highlighted at the experimental site, respectively Moldovenești commune, Cluj County, for 19 sites, represented graphically, with transects between 4800 m, rapeseed crop (Brassica napus) and 315 m, sugar beet (Beta vulgaris). Total transects were obtained for soybeans (Glycine max) and alfalfa (Medicago sativa). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
