Russian Communication Association announces call for its 2004 conference.

The article announces that Russian Communication Association is holding its second biannual international conference, Communication: Theoretical Approaches and Practical Applications at the Institute of Management, Business and Law in Rostov-on-Don, Russia on May 24-28, 2004. Scholars are invited to submit papers for presentation at the conference addressing one or more of the following themes: communication theory and research; teaching communication and communication curriculum development; organizational communication; interpersonal communication; international and intercultural communication; language and communication; argumentation and rhetoric; mass media communication and computer-mediated communication. Papers will be competitively selected based on a three-page abstract to be included in the printed conference proceedings. The conference fee of $340 includes airport transfers in Rostov-on-Don, translation services at the conference, meals, a city tour, the conference banquet, a day trip to Starocherkassk and the Russian Communication Association membership fee for two years.
