Abstract

The article presents information on drinks. A simple wine labeling system seems to elude the French, writes Dr. Sarah Bamford. French wine used to be renowned for its complicated naming conventions. French wine is predicated upon a naming system based on the origin of the wine. Labeling law forbids mention of the grape varieties on all the better wines including the words appellation control.
