Abstract

The article focuses on Africa's democratization wave overlapped with the World Bank's decision to broaden its public sector management agenda to include key issues of governance, leading to the adoption of the "good governance"agenda in international development. It mentions style of policy implementation that Global North countries and international organizations have imposed on African governments as conditions of development aid.
