Abstract
- This article evaluates BIAS' SoundSoap Pro 1.0 audio plug-in for the Mac operating system. It is priced at $999. It consists of four intuitive modules: Hum and Rumble; Click and Crackle; Broadband; and Noise Gate. It has an intuitive interface, and it effectively removes a wide range of noise. However, it does not work fully with all Audio Units-compatible applications. It combines powerful noise reduction with an easy-to-us interface, and it costs significantly less than other professional solutions, such as Waves' Restoration Bundle.
