Abstract

This review refers to recent advances on the receptors involved in the field of host-guest recognition from the last five years. The most used receptors in this field were calixarenes, pillararenes, and cyclodextrins. First, a series of electrochemical sensors used to detect dopamine are described, then the electrochemical chiral detection of the tyrosine and tryptophan enantiomers is discussed. © 2021 The Electrochemical Society ("ECS").
