Abstract

The article discusses practical tools to improve equity and dismantle racism in schools. Topics include the goal of the Reimagining Integration: Diverse and Equitable Schools (RIDES) Project at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, ways that dismantling institutional racism in schools requires five interconnected components, and reason that systemic improvement toward equity is hard.
