We welcome Ms Woolrich's response to our guest editorial entitled "Surviving clinical errors in practice" as representing the perspective of the insurance industry in this complex issue faced regularly by veterinarians. Ms Woolrich recommends that insurance companies should be primarily involved in decisions on how to communicate clinical errors to clients to minimise the risk of litigation.
