Abstract
- Amounts of evidence reveal that there is serious corrosion of gathering and transporting pipelines, which will affect the normal production of oil fields. In this study, the corrosion characteristics and corrosion mechanism are clarified by analyzing the composition of the produced water in a block. The acts to guide the anti-corrosion measures and extend the lives of pipelines. The results show that the corrosion factors in this block are mainly CO2 and Cl". There is also a small amount of H2S and SRB. The corrosion form is mainly pitting corrosion, and the corrosion mechanism is under-scale concentration corrosion. Adding a slow-release agent is a relatively effective protective measure. Four kinds of corrosion inhibitors have been screened through indoor experiments. Among them are KS-18 and WS-15 (two slow-release agents that are used in a single dose). The slow-release effect and temperature resistance performance are more. The corrosion rate is 0.0071 mm for the combination of KS-18 and WS-15 concentrations of 15 mg/L and 25 mg/L. The sustained release rate is 98.1%. It is recommended to add a corrosion monitoring system in this block and use a hanging piece or resistance probe to monitor the corrosion status in real-time. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
