Supernumerary Teeth: an Overview for the General Dental Practitioner.

Supernumerary teeth can develop in any location of the mandible or maxilla and may have a significant impact on the developing dentition. This paper reviews the prevalence, aetiology and classification of supernumerary teeth. It also describes their clinical characteristics and management options.
