- The article focuses on the Ellen Kuras is an American cinematographer whose body of work includes narrative and documentary films, music videos and commercials in both the studio and independent worlds. Topics include she made her feature debut as a cinematographer in 1992 with Swoon; and Kuras was in the midst of directing a series for Netflix when Covid-19 disrupted the American cinematography industry.
