Abstract
- The article focuses on species of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs) are included in the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), a multinational agreement that regulates international trade of animal and plant species. Topics include the CITES-listed plant species has sources of ingredients used in cosmetic, trading nations are members of this convention, and the industry to understand exactly has CITES-listed plant require CITES permits.
