LA NUEVA HISTORIA DEL FÚTBOL. EL EJEMPLO DEL BRASIL.

The article presents a report on the history of soccer in Latin America. Topics discussed here include representatives of sports studies, sociology and anthropology; contributions made by historians; and literature referring to Brazil. Also being discussed are the topics like the history of Brazilian football; transnational discursive community composed of people like athletes, politicians, journalists and academic experts; inclusion of practical and discursive subordination; and the motto of professionalization.
