Faculty Intellectual Property Rights in Distance Learning Courses.

This article reviews U.S. copyright laws, focusing on two legal doctrines, the work for hire doctrine and the fair use doctrine, and their implications for distance learning. The article also explores ethical and pedagogical issues arising from distance learning and the involvement of higher education unions.
