The Role of Human Resource Management in the Context of Jordanian Higher Education: A Study of the Literature.

This paper explores the role of Human Resource Management (HRM) in the context of Jordanian Higher Education (HE) through an evaluation of its application and development. The research is based on a systematic literature review and a content analysis of 18 peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2000 and 2018. The findings show that the role of HRM is constructive, yet traditional, operational, and underdeveloped in its application. This study also identified a range of unexplored areas of research that call attention to future context-related studies in the field of HRM. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
