Abstract

As microprocessors have come into wide use, network systems that connect multiple microcomputers have come to be used as one application of microprocessors. As for their control software, productivity and reliability will be low if we use conventional descriptions for each node. In this paper, we will present the specification and implementation of a high level language MPL (Multiprocessors Programming Language) designed for network system description by extending language Module. MPL can facilitate the description of a data transmission mechanism and the entire network integratedly and efficiently. Also, the paper presents an example of message transmission systems in a network utilizing simple connection to evaluate the description power of MPL. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
