Abstract

The purpose of this research is to quantify relevancies between the economic index and the number of transactions in the Business to Business (BtoB) networks of Japanese textile and apparel industry. The BtoB networks of Japanese textile and apparel industry were analyzed based on the supplier datasets of the department of total-apparel companies (about 200 companies for 2005~2010). Regression analysis between network indexes of the hub companies and the exchange rate of USD/JPY was used in this research. As a result, a regression equation indicating positive correlation on degree centrality of a trading company was found. This tendency was represented behavior as an international trading company in the BtoB networks. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
