Abstract
- The present study was conducted with a sample of 4 shops selected purposively from Udaipur city. Data were collected with the help of structured and duly pre-tested interview schedule. The objective of the study was to explore different categories and varieties of organic food products available in market of Udaipur city. The result shows that the different categories and varieties of organic food product were Cereals (Grain, Flour and Other Products) 27 varieties, Pulses and legumes (Whole, Split (Dal), and Flour) 13 varieties, Roots and Tubers 8 varieties, Leafy vegetables 3 varieties, Other vegetables 12 varieties, Fruits 10 varieties, Nuts and oil seeds 1 variety, Spices and condiments 12 varieties, Processed items 5 varieties, Fats and edible oil 4 varieties, Sugar and jaggery 4 varieties and Beverages 3 varieties were available in market of Udaipur city.
