Abstract
- The article focuses on the legality of advertising (ad)-blockers, the software that gives users the choice to determine the content displayed on their computer screens while loading a website. Topics include potential of an ad-blocker to be unlawful under laws such as copyright infringement, U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act's access controls provision, and tortious interference to a contractual relationship; and the ad-blocker Ad-Block Plus operating under the Acceptable Ads Initiative.
