Environmental Research on Large-scale Application Design of Battery Energy Storage System in Power Grid.

Abstract
- This paper analyzes the demand of energy storage construction in power grid, designs the energy storage system scheme, and aiming at the large-scale application of energy storage technology in power grid, a scheme of energy storage large-scale application system architecture based on energy interconnection is proposed, and the scheduling and operation strategies of energy storage system are studied. Due to the comprehensive consideration of the investment and benefits of the energy storage system, two construction plans were formulated: Scheme I (160MW / 320MWh), Scheme II (160MW / 160MWh). And it is analyzed and compared in various situations, and the sensitivity analysis is further carried out. In the same charge and discharge times, the income of the two schemes mainly depends on the electricity price policy, and the more favorable the electricity price policy, the payback period of the energy storage investment. The shorter the scheme, the longer the investment recovery period under the various modes of the second scheme, but the gap is not large. Considering that the construction mode of the second project is only half of the plan one, and the comprehensive economic benefit analysis and comparison, the final proposal is to adopt the construction mode of the second plan.
